I’m the founder of Outline Outpost, a creative lab where story structure meets strategic thinking. With a background in financial services and decades of experience helping professionals communicate clearly, I now focus on helping writers bring their ideas to life—without the overwhelm.

My writing roots
I've been putting pen to paper and creating worlds, characters and their stories from a young age. Since publishing my first two novels (with the third coming next year - 2026), I've had conversations with many people about the "how" behind starting, writing and finishing books. Those conversations got me thinking about how I could help people take their ideas and turn them into full stories.
My style
My process is structured but flexible—equal parts architect and builder. I start with bones: character arcs, theme threads, act structure. From there, I map scene-by-scene outlines designed for clarity, escalation, and emotional payoff.
I believe in working from the inside out. That means understanding what the story is really about—its core tensions, its contradictions, its heart—before writing a single paragraph of prose.
Every tool I create is tested in the real world: inside Scrivener files, across story bibles, and through conversations with writers facing creative friction. I lean on visual frameworks, layered arcs, and modular planning—because a great story isn’t written all at once. It’s engineered, evolved, and revealed.
I don’t write to a word count. I write to a narrative purpose. That makes every page more intentional—and every breakthrough more satisfying.
